Meet Brittany Knoppa

How do you serve the residents of Regency?

I serve the residents of the Regency by ensuring that they have daily meals as well as specialty meals for holidays and other special events. I also coordinate with the Life Enrichment department to provide fun desserts for the birthday socials as well as snacks and beverages during other social events. I try my best to make sure that the menus have a wide variety of menu options for the residents to enjoy.

What do you like most about your job?

The thing that I like most about working at the Regency is that I get to know all of my residents and even some of their families while I am working. I love to hear about all of their life experiences and I enjoy spending time getting to know them even when I am not serving them meals in the dining room. It has always been a pleasure to meet new residents and hear what their life was like before moving into our community.

When you’re not at work, where would we find you?

When I am not at work you can find me either outdoors hiking and canoeing around Wisconsin with my fiancé or spending quality time with my family. My family likes to spend time in the Wisconsin Dells for vacations and we also like to spend time around Milwaukee trying new places to eat.
